So the first morning of Spring found us here in Bethel at 30 below!
it's warmed up some today, but yesterday.... the sat. before Easter,
was still darn cold while the local kids joined in the Egg Hunt at the park
(20 below with wind-chill). Our boys lasted for just long enough to gather
a couple of eggs and then we were all ready to head home and inside.
This has been a stay-at-home weekend, with everyone suffering from
runny noses. But it has been gorgeous and sunny, despite the cold, perfect
for backyard skiing.

What happens to an Easter egg at 20 below? Is it frozen solid?
Real eggs would freeze... they use plastic eggs for this event, filled with candy and some tickets for big prizes, including a couple of bikes!
